Forums - Sony - So how's Warhawk?

I've had the demo installed for ages and I still play it sometimes, but for some reason I haven't bought it yet. While it's really fun, I think I just get turned off at how weak the game feels when you're not in a vehicle - million shots to kill someone with some hardcore autoaim.

Is the full game much better? Active? I'm also wonderin if it has some kind of party system. 3 of my other friends downloaded the demo (one of them ordered the full thing on Ebay...he's an ebay whore) and have been playin abit, but we might end up buyin the full thing. It's easy for us to get in the same match in the demo, but we're all rarely on the same team.

At about $18 used (Amazon), would you say it's worth the buy? I'm reeaaally trying to save money this gen, especially since I've been tore between buying PS3 games and expensive musical gear.

On a random note, it has online splitscreen (j00t)......more games need this =l

Get it, it's awesome fun. Not very realistic but awesome fun. And it's cheap and always a lot of people playing at once.

Full game is, of course, much better. If you dont like the big maps you can just chose the game with smaller maps ( Badlands Fortress, Close Corridors...)

And the full game is very active because it has all good players with experience playing(like me). Unlike demo which are all begginers

The full game is great, and if you get it I would recommend getting the expansion packs. I still play the game and there's a ton of matches going on still. Unfortunately for me, I still suck but I can't play on the rookie servers so I tend to not do so well... You'll start off on the rookie servers though, so you'll have time go get used to the maps, etc.

At $18, I would say that there is no reason why you shouldn't get it. It's still a fantastic game. ^_^

get the game and the DLCs

PS One/2/p/3slim/Vita owner. I survived the Apocalyps3/Collaps3 and all I got was this lousy signature.

The game and DLCs are totally worth it. I also disagree with statement, "weak the game feels when you're not in a vehicle". I have the most fun when I'm running around with a rocket launcher and mines. Tack on the assault rifle and you have a one man army.

If you have a rocket launcher and mines, you can pretty much take out anyone or bring them down with you at least.

edit: Disclaimer: I play pretty cheaply. Suicide runs and such, so don't take my word for anything Warhawk. :P

The game is very fun and the map packs just add to the fun rather than feeling like a pointless add-on like some other DLC's can seem!

I haven't played the game in a while, might have to give it a go sometime

get it its very fun and a lot of people still play

The online ranked system is very broken.

The system just presumes if you reach a certain score you automatically become a great player and blocks access to the 'noob' servers.

Even someone who sucks and never improves will eventually get blocked out of those servers.

I used to play it once at month at best, now I don't play it at all because it sticks me in the servers with people who play 24/7 and I get owned.

Terrible online system.

Also Warhawks rape everything so little point trying to be on foot or land vehicle. No thought towards balance was achieved when designing the game.

Wonder when I'll get kicked out of the rookie servers. I don't play much, but this is likely what would happen to me. I suck in Warhawks, so I'd probably get wasted running around with my mines and rocket launcher. :|

Ahh well. I don't have time to play it anyway. After hearing this though, maybe the OP should just stick to the demo? (Unless you're skilled and have the time to be good with the Hawks.)
