Why not? Square-Enix seems to love remakes, a spinoff came to the DS and the instal base is there.

I don't think it's fair to call the DS extinct.
As for FF 12 on Wii I say FRACK that. NO MORE PS2 AND GAMECUBE PORTS! I PAID $250 FOR THIS MOTHA!

It's not my choice. I'm just judging by S-E's actions. They are yet to remake a ps1 or ps2 game, just games from generations before. Maybe it's because of the sony console continuity i.e those with a ps3/ps2 may find it unnecessary to buy the remakes when they still have copies of the old game. On the other hand, how many people still have a nes or snes?

I didn't say the DS was extinct, I meant that the remakes on DS are games from consoles that are now. extinct
