Right, I'm just saying you're "losing" the other 25% because you're taking advantage of the extra brightness setting. If you played it at the same brightness as a DS it would be only 25%, so really it's down to you complaining about your lack of self control.

PSP like the PS3 is a Japanese thing...the rest of the world are more interested in other consoles and platforms. Sony is getting REALLY desperate to be putting out worthless PR like this. Pretty soon, the ipod touch is going to be a more viable handheld platform over the psp...ouch!

Yeah but you still lost 25% as well, and you exert self control. () I may lose more, but you lost for nothing.

I can't believe you're not upset with a 25% loss of battery life. Even if you never play any of the new games, and only bought it because they don't sell dslites anymore, You just bought a dslite with 25% less battery time and 50% more expensive.

Well, if it turns out that all those times I thought I had plenty of battery life left it was really about to hit the orange, then I'll change my tune.

But I doubt it.

I really think you're just trying to make something out of nothing and just looking for a reason to moan about the DSi, but if less battery life really is that important to you... I recant.  I seriously doubt anyone else is really gonna complain.

Look at the bright side, at least you don't have to actually buy batteries for the thing.

true that is a bright side.

Ds lite has always been cool like that, and very much appreciated.

Honestly I'm not trying to flame the dsi. I just won't be buying something that I think has less features than the original. (unless they have an awesome gold plated zelda one^^)

PS is going to be DOMINANT in Japan by the end of the year...but WW...not very likely, and it's actually going to lose ground, imho.

So far, for me, there worst PR statement was Jack Tretton saying the Wii has no backwards compatibility. Actually he more or less implied it, because he said (along the lines of) "if you look at our competition there is one who has a third of it's previous library that's backwards compatible and another who has no backwards compatibility."

As I said when this was posted as news, I really don't take ANY PR statements seriously.
