I know this may seem corny, but I know a lot of forum members who love this game (Twesterm, mainly, since him and I are saps for the singer who does the album for the first game, Hayley Westenra). I wanted to make this thread so other forum members who enjoy this game can discuss about it and the upcoming sequel that's going to be released in Japan.
How many marine animals has everyone found on the game? I have nearly all of them, but it's still difficult to backtrack to certain areas that you know where you missed an animal. I'm trying to find the beluga whale and orca/killer whale, but I guess they are found in the Winter season later on in the game (I'm still on 7/16 on the game).
Does anyone think this game is educational in a sense? I wish Nintendo and ARIKA made some more of these games, like you go to Africa and find wildlife there, or a jungle in South America to find wildlife there as well. Something to escape to if you're stressed out about something and want to relax, just like Endless Ocean does for us right now. For an African wildlife game, they could have Enya's music in it. It would be really nice.
With Endless Ocean right now, I'm taking all the information of the animal life I've encountered and I'm typing it up on my laptop as reference since I have a love for marine life. I was supposedly going to major in marine biology for college, but due to the economy and going to a college that wasn't my choice of interest to begin with, I lack the money to go to this college on the North Carolina coast for learning about marine life so I could teach children in classrooms about it.
I can't wait for the second game. I wonder what new animals they are adding to it? That one screenshot of the murky water must be somewhere in a river in a jungle, because it almost has the fish I've seen at an aquarium in their jungle section (Amazon). I also wonder if more of Hayley Westenra's music is going to be in it.
Anyways, discuss what you like about Endless Ocean and what you think the second game will be about
