I own the PAl version and there was noticeable lag on occation but it is not a huge problem by any means. The most annoying thing for me was the sound emulation, in which certain sound effects are accompanied with a rather unpleasent buzzing noise. Once again this is only select sound effects and most of the tunes come across fine.

As far as the game freezing goes, I've had it lock up on me three times, thankfully I was not doing anything importent at the time. I don't know if there are certain areas or events that are more likely to trigger a lock-up and considering that the three times the game froze on me had very large gaps of playtime inbetween it shouldn't be considered much of a problem. However it should be noted that due to Majora's Masks unusual save system, a lock-up at the wrong time could be nothing short of a catastrophe and could potentialy set you back hours.

Thanks. Did you play with rumble enabled or disabled?

I used the Wavebird, so I presume disabled.

Appearantly you need to disable rumble in the options menu, in order to fix the problems.

I read on a forum that the VC release is an exact port of the Collector's Edition. But others say it runs smoothly. I would love some clarification on the matter, as some people experience bugs, others don't, etc.

disable rumble and the bugs go away!

its that simple people.
