Forums - Nintendo - New WiiWare game: Gravitronix

I'm surprised this slipped through the cracks here...

And an interview...

And check THIS out: ADOPT A GRAVITRONIX CHARCTER?!

http://www.medaverse.com/blog/2007/09/character-adoption.html

Apparently, VGC can submit their contact info and win a "lottery" of sorts to receive a character wallpaper before any other news site when they start introducing the characters. Interesting...

"I mean, c'mon, Viva Pinata, a game with massive marketing, didn't sell worth a damn to the "sophisticated" 360 audience, despite near-universal praise--is that a sign that 360 owners are a bunch of casual ignoramuses that can't get their heads around a 'gardening' sim? Of course not. So let's please stop trying to micro-analyze one game out of hundreds and using it as the poster child for why good, non-1st party, games can't sell on Wii. (Everyone frequenting this site knows this is nonsense, and yet some of you just can't let it go because it's the only scab you have left to pick at after all your other "Wii will phail1!!1" straw men arguments have been put to the torch.)" - exindguy on Boom Blocks

i want to know more, from the little i have heard of this and platchen, this sounds better. Thanks for the info.

Sure thing.

From the interview, it says they'll be releasing some kind of video explanation of the game at some point. That should hopefully clear everything up.

i can imagine a lot of the Wiiware games [at least the good ones] being incredibly addictive.

This is the second WiiWare title that has been announced.

I actually have no idea what to expect from WiiWare.

It's good to see some with original ideas because I wouldn't be surprised if we got tons of WiiWare versions of Minesweeper, Bejeweled, etc.

I am really interested in this game now...

The idea seems cool and what I really like is that the team is small and trying to make their dream come true by making a game, so you know that they are going to do their best to make this game good enough to get their foot in the door of the gaming world...
