Forums - Sales - WHY IS COD 4 STILL $59.99

Around the Network

the same for uncharted!! :(. it's too expensive.

It is a bit crazy. When I saw that EBgames was paying $37 for trade in I was shocked.

Why is this a mystery to you?

If a company makes a product that sells at a high price point, why lower it? Lower pricing is usually a stimulus for games that have fallen off the radar.

I KNOW ITS AN AWSOME GAME BUT MOST PEOPLE THINK IT SHOULD BE LIKE $39.99 BY NOW.

It's called a quality game.

When a game is worth it, people don't sell them on for 2nd hand markets as much, and the demand for the new copies stays relatively high.... Many Nintendo games do the same.

It's nice to have an echo.

Even the best quality games get price cuts eventually. Why this one has not gotten one yet, who knows. Capitalism?

Because people are still buying it regularly at that price. Super Mario Galaxy, Wii Fit, and MK Wii are all at their launch prices because they still sell consistently. Any smart corporation knows if you can sell at a higher price then do it.

Bigger question is why is Zelda:TP and other launch Wii games still full price?
