
It is a bit crazy. When I saw that EBgames was paying $37 for trade in I was shocked.
Why is this a mystery to you?
If a company makes a product that sells at a high price point, why lower it? Lower pricing is usually a stimulus for games that have fallen off the radar.

Even the best quality games get price cuts eventually. Why this one has not gotten one yet, who knows. Capitalism?
Because people are still buying it regularly at that price. Super Mario Galaxy, Wii Fit, and MK Wii are all at their launch prices because they still sell consistently. Any smart corporation knows if you can sell at a higher price then do it.
Bigger question is why is Zelda:TP and other launch Wii games still full price?
