In which it will be largely ignored by most, but loved by some (even though the pretty pictures were its only redeemable feature.) Additionally, CGI-QUALITY, with the games lack of multiplayer, and with probable short story (see: every other pretty action game recently, without the pretty (or not so pretty, to some) graphics) what will you do once you have finished the game in the first night of play? Spontaneously combust? |
How much do you know about the game???
Play it again!! The game was designed to play out in many different ways with multiple alt stories. It's about 10 hours for each play through, and the story doesn't end when you die. You continue as a new character.... Shows how much you know about the game....

per gamestop - god of war 3 4/1/2010 !! :(
atleast we have uncharted, r&c, heavy rain and mag :)
i don't see any launch parties for either game, as both will disappoint in sales. wonder why gamestop even bothered to take pre-orders.

Your logic is VERY flawed, every game eventually goes up for preorder. So they shouldn't take preorders because YOU think these games won't sell? Yea, that doesn't add up. How many games that didn't sell well still were available for preorder,? Yea, thought so. |
Jesus man, this is the only game I've ever seen you get defensive about lol

It isn't about HEAVY RAIN specifically with his post. His logic of the games not selling doesn't mean GameStop shouldn't take preorders on it. Even so, I don't expect HEAVY RAIN to sell millions, nor do I care if it does. MAG will probably do 2-2.5mill Lifetime. At the end of the day, it ISN'T about sales but quality which unfortunately gamers DON'T use when measuring a game's relevance to the market, quality. It's sadly always about sales, and that's tragic IMO.

I agree. Shadow of the Colossus was amazing and great quality but didn't sell millions.
