Well hi people from VGchartz. I have a friend who is going to Los Angeles next week. I cant buy Live Gold from where i live coz i dont live in US.

I would like to know some adresses from game shops like Gamestop or EBgames, Walmart, etc. So i can give them to my friend, so he buys me a Xbox live Gold card.

If he's going to los angeles its goina be REALLY easy to find a store that has Xbox Live cards in it.
Pretty much all American retailers sell them, and Their are alot of retail stores in America, he won't be able to miss them.

You could also order it online at amazon.com or newegg.com and it will probably be somewhat cheaper than if you buy it at a retail store

I was under the impression that if you can't buy Live Gold in your area, using a subscription card will not work either because Xbox Live is not officially supported for your area? I also thought the codes were region specific, so US codes can only be used in the US, but I could be wrong. I've never actually looked into this type of situation before.
