odin sphere did 60k first week. but taking into aocunt smaller userbase, handheld dominace and lack of core japaneese wii owners id say 15k first week

I would say about 14k first day, 25k first week. It's still very much a niche game, but we will see.
It will also be interesting to see Basara PSP sales, considering last two games (for Wii and PS2) flopped horribly. Can this one sell more than 20,000 first week?

Good question - 30,000 first week.
I think we will see less than that.. but Japan seems to have some interesting numbers with sequels (although this is not exactly a sequel), so I hope the numbers surprise me lol

That's actually exactly what I predict as well.
Well, Odin Sphere did 60,000, and that was with all the competition it had on PS2. Muramasa is basically THE Wii game for that week.
I expect 25k-30k for the first week of Muramasa. But you know people will call it a bomb it if doesn't sell 50k first week.
