To all the PAL people on this board who download it: do there seem to be any errors in emulation like on the GC version? Stutters in the music, random freezing, loss of saved owl data, any of that? Is the framerate perfectly smooth?

I hope it comes over to the US VC on Monday.

Cool, I never did play this back on the 64 for some reason, I might have to look carefully once it comes to NA.

im getting it!!! once my exams are over that is. the only zelda since the ocarina i havent completed. rented it out and got a bit through back in the 64 days, but never finished it. i can not wait!

thats odd hardly anybody seems to be excited why is that i think this is a major announcement

We already knew that it was coming to Japan this month, so it was fairly reasonable to assume Eu / US releases soon; it may also have something to do with the ratio of PAL vs. US users on this site, although I'm not certain of that.

I'm hoping it hits the US VC next week.  This PAL news is only of interest to me insofar as it makes a quick US release seem even more likely, now that the other two regions have announced.

I am, however, greatly anticipating some reviews of the emulation on this one, as there were widely reported issues with the GC version.  I mainly just want a smooth, consistent framerate and no reports and freezing.

For anyone curious about the quality of emulation, I did turn up this from someone who has been playing it today:

"Right now I've completed the first three day cycle. So far the game runs smooth without any lags, frame drops or sound problems. As good as the N64 version but in sharper graphics and larger resolution. Majora's Mask costs 1000 Wiipoints, uses 256 blocks and is pretty much the best deal you can get on the Virtual Console, unless there will be any freezing problems. I will continue testing the game and report, if I experience any issues."
