Setting: Varrigan City for MadWorld?

It starts in Varrigan City but it goes to other areas.

The commentary was hilarious imo.

I am pretty sure the whole island was Varrigan City.

that is because it is. Also, both games are high on references. What I found funny was that the doctor, Leonardo, was clearly modeled after Re4's Leon in hairstyle, gun-pose etc.

surely there are lot of similarities. i even liked the both games to similar extent. But then I wanted to decide which I liked better and I thought which game's sequel would like to play the most and the answer is No more heroes.

as good as madworld is i like NMH better .. i think travis is so much cooler than jack.. jack kinda borders on stereotypical whereas as travis feels fresh.

They are very similar especially considering they are both punk games. But the core differences definitely do come in the main characters who are very very different.

I've played and beaten both, and I'd take Madworld any day. No More Heroes had so many breaks between action sequences, whereas Madworld was nonstop brutality. I also laughed more at the commentary in Madworld.

MadWorld=No More Heroes for me. Props to Esmo for Leon-Leonardo comment i was like WTF when i first saw the guy. I guess platinum games took their revenge against capcom LOL(its a spoiler).
