Actually, the PS2 library is the largest.

But the Wii library will have some more innovative games, because it has received more recent direct development and because of the design of the interface (control system).

I have both systems, so I am set.

And I don't think the PS2 price cut will do anything to Wii sales. But it might get some people to buy back-up PS2 units. And developing Wii games by porting PS2 graphics is slowing -- Madden is doing its own Wii graphics this year for example.

It's about as ridiculous as using profits from PSP to drop PS2 price. Sony are fucking stupid.

The Nintendo Entertainment System had a larger market share than the PS2 ever did!
It's closest videogame console competitor was the Sega Master System.

(the good old Atari 2600 was a 2nd generation system)

With Strategy yes, sony has loss there touch so agreed. regardless, this year is still young but the ps3 has stolen quite a few 360 exclusives so far.

but it doesnt make up for screwing up with what they did/doing with the psp and ps2.

Hopfully there smarter this year.

Still I agree with this move. It was about time they dropped the PS2's price. I know that some people say the PS3 needs the price cut but the PSP's profits werent going to make the PS3 price cut happen. They cut the one console whose price they could afford. Now that the PS2's price is $99 it means that profits from the PSP and PS2 can go towards a PSP and PS3 price cut.

Exactly, and that great library can be bought at extremly low prices on ebay.

 

Still It's too little too late they should have done Sony Sports with motion controler bundle year ago.
