A Halo RPG (Fallout 3 style) would be freaking amazing! Have BioWare & Bungie work on it.

Im slowly...and i mean slllooowwwlllyyyyy getting bored of Halo 3. A year and a half later...lol

ODSt will come out at a perfect time.

um about the movie. microsoft was working on it wwith peter jackson. but they(microsoft) wanted to much money from the profits. and like badgenome( i think) said give me a mass effect but in the halo universe.

The reason why halo isn't treated like Mario in my opinion is ms didn't create it. They bought bungie after bungie made it. Now bungie is its own company. They don't have the creative talent or ideas to expand on it. MS is known for copying others ideas or just buying out another company to get their's.

Warthogs are really fun to drive. I love the way the drift and handle around corners. Mongooses not so much.

Absolutely NOT!...The Masterchief is royalty, but the Halo-verse isn't...it's an IP, so use it.  Forge is great in Halo Wars, and the ODST  this fall is going to be great as well...there's more to Halo than just MC, even tho the character is a freaking monster and the undisputed king.  I WOULD love to see a series of films centered around the game tho, and to flesh out who, what why is the MC.

I believe Halo 3:ODST will be like a Halo 3.5 and set up the story for Halo 4.

The money issue was with the studios, not with Jackson.  Fox and Paramount (if I'm not mistaken) were the studios, and M$ wanted far too much of the profits for thei taste, but M$ positino was that they had already paid for all the developement stuff, and hte studio would jus build the sets and shoot the film...heck, they would even have the film's shell.  So, M$ can't actually do a MArvel, since M$ doesn't have studio know-how, but they CAN finance most of the film, and therefore stike a better deal with the studio on profits...maybe even 50/50 split, based on 50/50 financing of profit and cost.

You've seen the full ending to Halo 3, right? I don't get the connection you're making. Assuming you think Halo 4 is following Master Chief after the events of Halo 3.

ODST does takes place I think during the events of halo 2 so in would not set up for 4. If you listen to all the cryptic messages Cortana sends you during 3 you would figure out that the story ends for Master Chief. She says in one of the messages this will be your tomb or something like that. THere could be more halo games even a mmorpg but unless they go back in the storyline I doubt they will include chief.
