The age old argument about whether these games would sell on the Wii is still entirely speculative, as we haven't seen enough top tier, big budget, 3rd party stuff on the Wii to make a judgment.

To be honest i don't think the Wii will ever see 100% support in this regard as we are still seeing HD exclusive announcements, more than 2 years in. I do think Wii's 3rd party support will get gradually better through the generation.

To be honest, I don't really want ports from HD consoles. I just want more unique 3rd party titles for the Wii.

some people assume that a wii port of an HD game on the wii will look worst than a PS2 version (that happened 'cause developers wanted to piggy back a PS2 version). But the reality is that a true wii version should look better than RE4 plus improved gameplay mechanics.
