Forums - Nintendo - Recommend me a Wiiware game/games.

(Skip to bold if you don't want to hear my life story)

Ok, with the decent memory space, and the release of Majora's Mask for the Virtual Console I will be buying 2 Wii (Nintendo?) points cards to get both World of Goo, and Majora's Mask.

Assuming Nintendo doesn't screw me over and put Majora's Mask above 1000 points (so far only 1 non-hanabi VC game is above the standard price... which is Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for 600 points on the NES for some reason) I should have 1500 points remaining, but I can stretch that to 1700-1800 points using Club Nintendo stars (I have 4 codes to add... 3 of them are 1st party so should definately get me 250 stars each, but one is Capcom's Zack and Wiki... and with RE4 I only got 200 stars, it could be because it was a port... but if it is due to 3rd partyness then Z&W probably will net me 200 stars instead of 250)

I cannot leave points on my shop channel for long, as they will get deleted when I change to the Australian shop channel.

So...I am looking for advice as to what other Wiiware games I can get that will take up the remaining 1500-1800 points I will have.

I already have Lost Winds and Toki Tori, and have already decided on World of Goo.

Here are some games I have some interest in, but would like to know more about them from people who own them before I decide.... I will also accept other reccomendations, although I am not interested in Megaman 9, so I wouldn't try to persuade me on that one.

Final Fantasy CC: My Life as a King (this would be my first ever square/square-enix game if I did get it)

Art Style: Orbient

Art Style: Cubello

Dr.Mario (in particular can you play randomers online in addition to friends)

Bomberman Blast (also details about online stuff)

T.V. Show King (how much replayability would it have if I only played it for 30 minutes every so often with my family... and what are the questions like)

Tetris Party (is this online?)

Onslaught (I probably won't get this unless there are some really glowing opinions of it)

Brain Challenge
(same info required as for T.V. Show King)

If reccomending anything else, remember I own a PAL Wii, so some American releases may not be available to me.

Thanl you in advance

World of Goo and Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life as a King

What is FFCC about then?... as that would take up the whole extra 1500 points on it's own..... it does seem to have a longer playing life than most other Wiiware games according to the Nintendo Channel, but what do you do? it kind of looks like a life simulator type game.

Lit
Bit.Trip Beat
Lost Winds
Gradius Rebirth

Forgot to mention I already have Lost Winds and Toki Tori.

I don't think Bit.Trip Beat nor Gradius are on the PAL channel... but I could be wrong.

What is Lit? is that the 3D puzzle about turning lights on?

sad to say but the ww game I play the most is Wild West Guns - just for the combo bonuses! I got world of goo, played it a bit, got TV show, would be good for the family if I had 4 remotes, got Lost Winds and found it dull, got Mega Man 9 and hated it! Best purchase by far was Bomberman...

took form wikipedia

"My Life as a King is a fantasy city-building simulator in which the player creates a kingdom from the ground up. Starting with a barren town consisting of a lone castle and a large power crystal, by using the crystal's power the player can magically place a variety of buildings to populate the settlement and draw in residents. The game makes limited use of the Wiimote's motion-sensing abilities and can be played one handed"

FFCC is too expensive in my opinion for what it offers (nice graphics with extremely repetitive gameplay). I love building sims and RPGs, but this game doesn´t really qualify for either genre. Neither fish nor flesh in my opinion, but it was nice for a few hours.

My recommendation: World of Goo.

Side note: I hope Swords & Soldiers turns out to be as good as it looks.

^ second that - really hoping for something good from swords and soldiers. wish you wouldn't post though, makes me sad that there's never going to be any more calvin and hobbes - i just like to say "smock"!

Dr. Mario.

game is a classic, needed in everyone's library
