Dude, no need to double post, I don't think anyone on this whole site thinks it should be legal. No one has condoned it, or will. Hell, I think 99.999999% of people world wide thinks it should be very harshly punished.

i knew murder was legal in some conditions self (defence) but never taught rape could be too, soon they will legalize maried murder end people from the west will think it's perfectly legal since they were maried, that's some bullshit. Anyway i think that a lot of people don't graspe the idea or marital abuse that's why they might think it's okay but they shouldn't, in those country getting married is not always about love and that bullshit you see on tv, it's more of a business, fathers sell their little daughters to other mens for personal gain and what that law says is that those women are trap in those relationship and even worse they don't posses their body anymore!

Not even close.  Hell it's not even that close in first world countries.  Something more like 80%.

20% at best a pretty sure it's 50/50 a lot of countries don't give any rights to women

One in seven people believe it is acceptable in some circumstances for a man to hit his wife or girlfriend if she is dressed in “sexy or revealing clothes in public”, according to the findings of a survey released today.

A similar number believed that it was all right for a man to slap his wife or girlfriend if she is “nagging or constantly moaning at him”.

The findings of the poll, conducted for the Home Office, also disclosed about a quarter of people believe that wearing sexy or revealing clothing should lead to a woman being held partly responsible for being raped or sexually assaulted.

Not exactly saying they don't have any problem with it... but it's pretty scary and their are scarier polls out there... and this is people admitting they think this way.

For most men in the world... if it's not their woman or if they're the ones doing it to their women they don't care.

sometimes i despair at my fellow englishmen, i think rape is abhorent, i would discontinue any friendship i had with someone, if they said they thought rape was ok in any situation.
