*Probably* Half-Life 2.

CoD 5's single person campaign was pretty damn amazing, too. And the Metroid Prime games are tops. It's hard to nail it down to just one, since some of them stand out as unique to themselves within this genre.

GoldenEye is a really, really good choice.. but i would have to go with Half-Life 2. that game seriously kicks ass. COD4 was cool too i guess though
