I don't think anybody doubts MS will announce several games at E3. Most companies announce games at E3 that get released one or two years later.

Microsoft likes to only annouce game that are coming out that year. Unlike sony whom announce games that will come out 3 years later.

forza 3 hasn't been announced yet, so its still just vaporware.
splinter cell and alan wake aren't confirmed for 2009 yet.
rare's new game, since there's no name for it yet, is still just vaporware as well.
don't bloat your list with vaporware and unconfirmed titles. it makes people's hopes rise up unnecessarily.

Microsoft did not announce those. Their respective publishers/developers did.

Yes and no.
IMO the list of Sony exclusivities is better ... not because they do a better job...but just because they announced everything earlier and it takes more time to develop...

We will see more good games being announced on the 360, released on the same times as PS blockbusters and it won't make any differences like always....

Not to mention most of thier games are first party titles iirc. Sony has more first party devlopers than Microsoft does.
I wonder why Microsoft has not bought up more devs?
They are going to have to announce some big titles at E3 if they want to compete.

Sony has a lot of gambles in their line up.
Nearly every game coming out is a new IP. They might all end up as "Hazes". I highly doubt it, but there is a chance.
With that said....Afrika...i liked it better when it was called Pokemon Snap.
