I have an article I was working on when I was a contributor but due to personal issues and an absence from here as a result of those issues it never got ready.

online gamming was way before dreamcast people.

Here is a little fun fact about Mattels online
It cost 5$ a month,
It had 20 games to chose from
It lasted 2 years
The games couldnt be bigger then 4 kb
It was canceled by the cable network to make room for MTV and the weather channel
Fear of pirating and indie developers made Mattel scrap the project alltogether in the end.

Shit, looks like Nintendo being famous for NES and SNES and Mario being a global superstar were all lies. I can't believe Nintendo and all of it's great franchises aren't popular!
