I was under the impression that most of the Taino died off because of slave labor and diseases brought by the Spanish, and most people who live in Puerto Rico today have a small percentage of Taino ancestors,some not having any at all. Also I thought most of the mixed people where mulatto. Do you have any amerindian(native) traits such as epicanthic folds, or high cheek bones?
