If you have homebrew channel like me and are tired of swapping DVDs all the time then this is your answer, and it does work with firmware 4.0, just make sure you install things correctly. This is not April Fools nor is it something bad for your Wii, just uh... don't brick it, I personally got it up and running last night with my old 80gig HDD in an USB enclosure and not having to swap DVDs is sweet and things load faster =O. Oh, and it doesn't work with JP version of Wii so don't bother if you have a JP Wii.
