Renting is a good idea if it's a game you may not want to play...But bad idea for a top-tier game that is a must have in your book. If your going to play a game a lot, you should buy it.

i'd rather own a game...but there are some adventure game which i know i won't play again....those are the only ones i'll rent...there aren't much of those though...

heavenly sword would be one good example that i would rent....short....and i'll never play it again...
