No, it's not even close.
Halo has that sort of divine online where everything just feels right. When you get into the swing of things the game flows amazingly well.
That is something KZ2 fails to do.

"Why do they call it the xbox 360? Because when you see it, you'll turn 360 degrees and walk away"
lol it didn't sell well.
No of course its not a halo killer, no game is besides CoD4 maybe.

If we are going to compare apples to oranges, then the Balance Board is very close to being a PS3 Killer. |
I'm just pointing out that just because a game sells better doesn't mean it is better. If you think a game that sells better is automatically better then the following games are better then Halo 3:
Nintendogs, Mario Kart Wii, Wii Pay, Wii Fit, Brain Age, GTA 4, COD 4. shall I go on?
And if PS3 had the same numbers as 360 did at this point in its lifetime the Balance board wouldn't be catching up it would have already outsold it. ;)

Sales doesn't always equal a better game, in this case though it does.

For me it's a important question cause I've got so many friends taking about that... maybe I should change my friend after all ;)
No, Killzone 2 can't live up to Halo's impressive online modes and worldwide sales.
TO GOD BE THE GLORY
In order for one game to "kill" another game it has to draw the fan base away from said game.
One could say that Warcraft 3 was a Red Alert 2 killer, or that the Wii is a PS3 killer for example, but to claim that any fps game is a Halo killer is absurd considering that Halo 3 has a following that's probably 2 times bigger than it's closest competitor.
I don't know a single person that stopped playing Halo 3 and took up KZ2 full time. So in conculsion, KZ2 is not, and never will be a Halo killer.

to quote Kowenicki..."not even remotely...." I can't speck for the gameplay, but graphics wise, it is superior to Halo 3...but...ultimately, the only valid comparison of apples to apples are in terms of sales. In those terms, Halo 3 is King Kong, as compares to KZ2 being bubbles the chimp!
