A little about the game:

What is Goal Line Blitz?
Goal Line Blitz is a browser-based multiplayer online game based on American Football. It is assumed that you know at least some of the rules of American Football. For a brush-up on the rules and positions, check out the Wikipedia article.
What can I do in this game?
Goal Line Blitz gives you a couple of options, depending on how you want to play the game. You can create players, level them up, and participate in a team's attempt to win the championship. You can also gain control of a team and set tactics, recuit players, build your stadium, and more. This is a truly community-based game. You should get to know some of the users on our forum. Most would be happy to answer your questions or recruit you to their team.

We started a team with members of the VGC community last year and we had a good turnout. As the game developed and kept advancing it was harder to let members of this community in since we were higher level and its almost impossible to catch up. However, mrstickball, gorgepir, linkzmax, mesoseto and a few other members will be re-rolling the team and starting all over again so this is the best time to come join us!!! We would like to have as many members of the community as we can to fill out a full roster of 40 players and you can bring any friends also that might not be part of the site! If you decide to join us please try to register through the link below, it will help us get Flex points (the currency used to buy things such as teams) to keep it rolling for a few seasons!

It really is a lot of fun! I'd recommend it to anyone interested in American football and RPGs, but even people outside of that category could very well find it to their liking.

There's no cost to sign up and check it out. Though if you do find you like it and want to keep your players competitive down the line, you will want to purchase a Flex Point package. They range in price depending on needs, and overall it's an outstanding deal for something very enjoyable.

Time commitment can range from roughly 5 minutes every two days to as much time as you want to pour into the game. The minimum everyone should do is set appropriate tactics for their players before each game(every two days), and "level"(more on that if anyone decides to join up) their players into superstars on the field. If you're more interested than just that, you can spend a ton of time scouting other teams to look for offensive/defensive advantages and coming up with tactics, or creating and dissecting individual plays for use on the field.
