hey, i have not said anything about rare in a while so i decided to make this thread.                                                  Important note; this in no way means i want them to go back im simply listing why it would be good for them.

10. it will shut up fanboys

9. brand recognition( hardcore nitendo fans no rares games)

8. new donkey kong country

7. get more sales for there cartoony games.

6. will get some awesome updates with the Miis

5. make awesome motion control games(although the xbox is getting it this year)

4. will not have to worry about microsofts habit of shutting down first party

3. nitendo will probably strengthen them with new employees,and the latest tech 

2. how awesome would viva pinata on the wii

1. we will finally get a rerelease of goldeneye on the virtual console

so discuss. and please no haters.

I used to hate Microsoft for acquiring Rare. I couldn't care less any longer. They haven't made anything good in a very long time.

I can think of 375,000,000 reasons why Rare joined Microsoft.

Rare didn't leave Nintendo. Nintendo sold Rare. Misleading title.

Rare would've been better of with Nintendo.

Well, Microsoft bought some 60% of Rare, and then Nintendo had no choice but to sell the remaining 40%.

At least that's how I remember it...

It seemed like Nintendo got rid of Rare in foresight of their pending loss of talent (though they still make some damn good games when they put their mind to it), i don't think Rare would have fared that much better, except that they'd still be pumping out periodic Donkey Kong titles.
