June is probably the best estimate for White Knight Chronicles at this time. Localization has been in progress for a while now but there's no news otherwise.

They had world wide launches for IU, SO4 is only 2-3 months apart from a world wide launch. Last remnant ww launch nov 20th. Sony on the other hand, Disgaea 3 launches in Japan in Jan/08, releases in NA in Aug/08. VC in April then in Nov in NA. WKC after 4 months, no word on localization. This is getting annoying. |
NISA is a small company and that's most likely the Disgaea 3. As for VC, I'm not sure why the localization took them that long, although maybe they weren't too sure about bringing it over in the first place.
but there would have been news of a localization for WKC by now right ? there is not even a release date set. I seriously want to play this!!!

It sold pretty well in Japan so why not Sony bring it here? I would love to know any new info that involves the game and its release. |
No one bought it.
May-June would actually be a good time frame, there's no heavy hitter GTA4 or MGS4 this year ( although I feel they would already have announced something if it was to be released within 3 months).
It's getting the Rogue Galaxy treatment.
They are going to tighten up the game before releasing it in the west. A Director's Cut will be released in Japan with the changes of the American version.
or they could just be getting really good English voice actors!
Well, it wouldn't be surprising to see it hit around Q3 or Q4...that's where most heavy hitters seem to be gathering this year. hint : in time for a price-cut.
It might be pulling a Rogue Galaxy. Basically holding it back a year while fixing any problems it might have, then releasing it here while re-releasing it in Japan as a Director's Cut.
But Rogue Galaxy still had some problems in its basic design. Some of those dungeons were way too damn long, and the weapon creation was a borefest. I hope WKC doesn't befall a similar fate.
