I have every game from both of them since the first Spyro, and Crash.

Spyro>Crash
Jak>Ratchet
Uncharted>Resistance

I preffer quality over quantity, and I think that is the route that Naughty Dog takes. Insomniac has done a very good job of putting out great quality games every year, but they just never seem to be in the same league as Naughty Dog when it comes to polish. One thing to note, is that Evan Wells has metioned that he expects to put out a game a year after Uncharted 2. I don't have time to try and find a link, but I know I saw it in either EGM or Gameinfromer when they interviewed him, and that Christain guy that is the co-presdent with him.

I dunno... They're two of my favorite developers. I still haven't tried the Jak series (I know, blasphemy!), but I love Uncharted and the original Crash games. I'm also a huge fan of the original Spyro games, All of the Ratchet games, and both Resistance games. I'll just call it a tie, since I don't want to chose. =)

I would pick Insomniac over Naughty Dog by just a hair because Insomniac has two AAA franchises in Rachet & Clank and Resistance. With that said, my favorite game out of all the titles from those 2 companies is Uncharted.

It's gotta be Naughty Dog overall. I asked people what their favorite games of all time were from PS1 age, they mostly said Crash Bandicoot 3 [Told them no Final Fantasy 7-9]

I honestly didn't like Resistance 2. It was fun but not a kind of game that I really remember 10 years from now. When I think of this gen for PS3, I think of Uncharted, MGS4 and Killzone 2 [so far] LittleBigPlanet didn't suit me as much.

Overall ND. Crash series was really huge in PS1 era.

Jak series are basically at the same level as Ratchet series in PS2 era.

For PS3, Insomniac has contributed more than ND I think (two resistance games and 1.5 ratchet game compared to one Uncharted game).

Personally though, Insominiac is one of my favorite game developers. more favorite than ND.

Seriously recommend that you get this game.

Back on Topic: I really can't decide this, I prefer Uncharted over Resistance and Crash over Spyro, but i like more Ratchet & Clank than Jak & Daxter, and Disruptor was one of my first console FPS... so i have to call it a tie since Crash and Spyro are no longer with the developers that made them great...

I’m waiting for UDF to be Greatest Hits in NA then I’ll be the first one to buy, because really $60 for a game that is a year and a half old is a little bit much even when it’s as awesome as Uncharted =D
