Forums - Nintendo - Super Mario Galaxy or Zelda: Twilight Princess?

I bought a Wii couple weeks back, and am ready to expand my game library (it's pitiful on the Wii right now...Wii sports and Wii play).

Considered Mad World (more to my blood-thirsty taste) but figured I couldn't have a nintendo console without Mario or Zelda on it...so which one first?  I'll get both eventually, but as they are both so well reviewed, I'll trust VGChartz on this one and pick up whichever one gets more votes later today.  Thanks!

Zelda then Mario

Get TP, then SMG. TP might turn you off with the GC graphics but going by your gamertag.. you might like an action adventure game more than a platformer.

Pixel Art can be fun.

Super Mario Galaxy. Generally you want to start off your console experience by playing a good game.

Won't lie and say I don't like me some pretty graphics, but if the gameplay is there, that trumps all!

are you saying TP wasn't a good game

Zelda then Mario.

HAHA, does that mean you don't think TP is a good game?  It got pretty good reviews (haven't played it at all to make up my own mind though)!

Don't worry.. Montana just thinks every Action Adventure game pales in comparsion to Okami.

It's only my opinion. If you're going by what I say, Super Mario Galaxy. If you're going by reviews, Super Mario Galaxy. If you're going by consumers (and I mean sales), Super Mario Galaxy. And if you're looking for a great game that's fun from beginning to end, Super Mario Galaxy.
