Rumor has it that M$ is getting another studio to work on what is essentially Crackdown 1.5. It is apparently multiplayer focused.

Why do you say that?

I'm pretty sure no exclusive deals were signed. Hell no one even knows which system Kingdon Hearts 3 will even come out on. It may very well be the Wii.

Who gives a toss that the Metacritic scores are different? It's the same content on the disc. And the sales of a game have no bearing on the quality of the experience to be had, so I don't even see why you brought that up.

OT, I really hope we see substantial updates on that triangle of Alan Wake, APB and Huxley. Could really do with concrete proof that 360 development for that trio has made a lot of progress. I personally don't care much for the two MMO's because I don't think they're going to have any great impact, but Alan Wake could be like the Ico of 360...

No they don't - Epic Games own the IP, not Microsoft. They had a two game publishing deal with Epic Games, which is why Gears 3 could (in theory) appear on the PS3.

Of course, there's pretty much no chance of that happening. There's no way Microsoft would not buy the exclusive rights to the next game too, given how successful the franchise has been.
