This may be a dumb question, but can you use the Wii Mote and nunchuck for SNES and N64 games?  Or do you have to buy a retro controller?  I only have NES games on VC, but I want to get Super Punch Out, Super Mario 64 and many more games. 

SNES and N64 games requires a classic or gamecube controller.

each game should tell you when you view game details which controllers it accepts

i think you can only use wiimote on nes and master system game. everything else can be played with either a classic controller or a gamecube controller.

EDIT:of course, if you don't fell like ploping down 20 bucks for another controller, you could plop that 20 bucks down on world of goo for wiiware (which uses a wiimote) and have 5 bucks left over since it only 15 :b
