no way, ff11 is the best in the ff series... JK. To me ff4 is my favorite, followed by ff6 as a close second.

I think it's either 6 or 4. They were the height of characterzation and story. Where nearly every character of a much larger cast was more developed the the characters of the latter games despite the party number being cut down.

6 beating 4 in this regard but 4 making good use of gameplay to advance storytelling in interesting ways. Like Cecil's battle to become a paladin.
