@mai, Hotel Dusk looks good. I don't know if I would prefer it to the Ace Attorney or Professor Layton games. Isn't Rhythm Heaven a sequel to Elite Beat Agents?

1) From those three I'd prefer Ace Attorney and Hotel Dusk. I was surprised to found myself playing visual novel, tried before with other games of the genre but only Ace Attorney sucked me in. Well-written and brilliantly translated, with elements of attorney\detective simulator (all english localizations from GBA, only last one in the series is made for DS from ground, therefore uses DS functionality). A bit farcical\comedy plot written by Shu Takumi and weird, charismatic characters made this game series unique. Professor Layton is more of a puzzle collection, good art and animation, dozens and dozens of puzzles mostly not connected with plot - easy and hard ones, some are really a brainteaser - but not my game.
2) No, it's not. Rhythm Heaven is a mini-game collection in a vein of WarioWare games - a bunch of rhythm activites which ends up with boss-level, that combining all previous mini-games into one marathon run. Visualisation here is to help you to feel the rhythm, sometimes it's pretty wierd, music by Tsunku. Yes, looks stupid, but pure fun, tops WarioWare games: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8UOpkY6g2ZE
