Hi fellow gamers.

I have found some interesting facts regarding YLOD affected consoles which could actually help the majority of you!

I recently took my PS3 to a tecnition to get Burnout Paradise out cos the PS3 wouldn't let me eject it due to YLOD. I came back the next day and he said that the console doesnt' work because the power brick is burnt!

That's all it is.

He then said that if these SPECIFIC types of power bricks were sold on the market then it can be fixed but because the tecnology in new it will take a while!

Well at least we all know what has happend to our PS3's... now we just need to change them

(sigh...)

my ps3 have a power problem before but i dont think its because of this YLOD thing.

YLOD like RROD is a system failure it could be any number of things from the HDD, mother board, power brick ect..

The 360 fails when it overheats, when it overheats the solder melts because the one M$ used was cheap.

No one knows of the PS3 YLOD problem, this is the only known explanation!
