Yes is sad that a PR has to rely on that kind of defensive behaviour but lately videogame journalists left a lot to be desired.

However some points in this topic are on track in that this gens "hardcore" was last gens mainstream games and people attacked mainstream games killing gaming.  Now it's a new gen with labels changed but the same old killing gaming stuff.

However I am not very happy with Nintendo pushing out crap like Wii music and the utterly retarded rock climber...you serious about this crap?! Then when Nintendo released Smash bros MP3 and galaxy and so many other games so close together it was like the best sex ever then the next morning woke up to wii music and wii fit like it was punch to the balls robbed my place and left.

E3 better be about REAL games again because if I see wii titles and a bunch of morons running around the stage flapping their arms and looking like they are having a siezure a gain and awoman treating me like I am 3 years old with her "alriiiiiiiiiight"  then suck it.

In Nintendo's language, there is no classification of casual or bridge. If a game appeals to those who already play games, it is a core game. If it appeals to non gamers it is called an extended audience game. Any language other than this was created by fanboys who wish to insult the Wii

to be fair to the standard view of a core game, quality not counted, Wii probably has the most while PS3 has the least with 360 in between so that's not exactly the right thing to say =P.
