Maybe I'm missing something, but it seems like very few people that frequent these forums like Halo 3 or World of Warcraft. These are the 2 most popular and polished multiplayer games of this generation and maybe of all time, yet the vast majority of people here dislike them both. Why?

Is it because this is primarily a Sony fanboy site? Is it because the people here are more "hardcore" and thus, prefer different elements in a game than the mainstream? Do the majority of posters here prefer single player gaming to multiplayer?

I really must know, because I find both of those games to be incredibly enjoyable, and while I don't expect everyone to have the same taste, it boggles my mind how so few people in a video game community such as VGC actually appreciate these 2 juggernaughts.

Halo 3 is a watered down fps game with crappy physics and graphics.

World of Warcraft is for losers.

Thats why you have both Halo 3 & Halo Wars in top 5 recent played 360 games......

I don't like FPS on consoles (besides the Wii) so I don't have any interest in Halo 3.
I have played WoW for quite some time, account is still active because my brother pays for it (we share an account) but I don't play it anymore.

I'm sure plenty of people here like those games. There just isn't much to say about them here. Most people here hype up the new and upcoming games.

Actually, not many people are WoW fans here, most are former WoW fans who think it is evil =)

I dislike World of Warcraft. I thought Halo 3 is good. The site overhypes Wii games somewhat, and has a core of ardent (i dont know what this word means but something tells me it goes here) sony fanboys, and some xbots, but besides that its alright.

Heh, I'm in the "former WoW player group that thinks it's evil" myself. It's an incredible game, but it can and does ruin lives. It's almost too good.

Good insight about most of the people here preferring to hype upcomming games as opposed to discuss older ones. Never though of it that way.

Nooooooo.... there is way more hate for Final Fantasy 7 on VGChartz.. ;)
