It doesn't really matter too much right now, though. People don't need to be assured of Zelda Wii's existence. Spirit Tracks is not taking away their potential Wii adventures.
People overreact just like they did when "NPC! Pikmin" was revealed well after Miyamoto said "We're making Pikmin" at E3. Then, as now, they jump to the conclusion that existence of one precludes existence of the other
