I've only played 3(on PC) and 5(on 360).. maybe I should play 1, 2 and 4 to make a better opinion.

Ya your missing out. All RE games 1-5 are amazingly good. If you try RE4, do try on the Wii instead of the PS2 or GC, controls are alot better.

I've been looking for RE4: Wii Edition but I can't find it.. at least at the price point I want.

REmake, with RE0. RE4 was great too.
Resident Evil 2 by far. REmake and RE:4 Wii edition were great too.
