Which is better?

Lost Odyssey is probably the better game in all honesty, if you're playing for story and an epic experience. I prefer Lost Odyssey's battle system, too.

Tales of Vesperia. Lost Odyssey is just bad.

Why do you think Lost Odyssey is bad?

Good battle system, good music, good story telling, good character development, great visuals and art direction. It might not be to your personal taste, but bad?

Lost Odyssey is a way better game (IMO).

But it depends on your own personal preference. Both are excellent games.

Replace the word "good" with "outdated" in every instance and you'd be correct.

I only played LO.. thanks to being in europe ToV wont be released until jun 2009..but it depends if u like turn based or real time..

Anyway if you can stand the old skool cheesey somewhat sentimental stuff then LO is for you.

This one might be a spoiler if you not played it.. its when they meet Lirum

Both good games, Lost Odyssey is way better though.

There's nothing wrong with an old-school JRPG every now and then.

It's just like if SE were to remake FF7. It would be an old-school themed game, but not something you would call bad, right?

My vote goes to Lost Odyssey, though ToV was really good as well.
