@scottie: Not funny. Really, for a second, take a glance at what was announced, pretty unbalanced. HW wise it was a great show for the Wii. New VC shop added, plus storage solution and some WiiWare announcements. On the other hand SW wise and M+ weren't a priority for them. I'm not unhappy, I feel like the show was really unbalanced. But E3 should demonstrate if Nintendo cares about the Wii or not.

Anyway, GDC has never been about huge software announcements, so getting a new zelda game is huge. As for Nintendo having to prove that they care about the Wii - I would think the number of incredible games they have pumped out in 2.5 years would be proof of that

@scottie: I'm a bit impatient mostly because of NoA and their release/localization policies. I want to see the next big announcement, because since E3 2007, there hasn't been one (SSBB, Wii Fit) while the DS has been getting big game after big game.

Oh yeah OT. I'm really happy with todays show.

Well yeah, NoA doesn't particularly spread out their big releases, but when you get Brawl, Kart and Wii Fit all within such a short space, you have to expect a bit of a lull afterwards. And besides, Wii Music and Animal Crossing were both big games

There has been a lot of good news here: Wii directly reading SD cards, Arcade games on the Virtual console, Wii the fastest selling console, exclusive offerings for the PS3, exclusive offerings for the PSP, SONY reducing development costs, etc. Good stuff.
