Time to get this thread locked and a few more people banned!!

why? so far most posts in this thread have been fine, none have flamed or anything like that

Indeed, but did you see the last thread?

I didn't see the last thread, but if things go bad, people will pay.

Meh there are way too many defensive people and offensive people to bother having a discussion about a hot topic such as this.

eh? someone suing the former employer for causing them harrasment based on there sexuality is a hot topic? surely its a fairly easy issue, MS should have punished his co-workers for harrasment, they didnt so he can sue them

That's just stupid. People who discriminate against gays in this day and age are no different from the racist old white codgers during the segregation days.

PS3 Trophies

Considering the source is the daily mail, I don't think they have any rights to post a story like this as they are the biggest gay bashers out there.

Not everyone thinks of it the same way... It is a controversial topic, to say the least...

Lots of people are not comfortable being around openly gay people.
He should have respected this and kept his sexuality to himself.

Yet, today, America's leaders are reenacting every folly that brought these great powers [Russia, Germany, and Japan] to ruin -- from arrogance and hubris, to assertions of global hegemony, to imperial overstretch, to trumpeting new 'crusades,' to handing out war guarantees to regions and countries where Americans have never fought before. We are piling up the kind of commitments that produced the greatest disasters of the twentieth century.

just in case i am not racist!.

hell it's not like they have a chance, things do slip out.

Well, if you don't like where you work go somewhere else.... Easy as that.

I mean honestly, unless he was planning on sueing Microsoft, he, assuming he is atleast a decent designer, could have switched to a different company and then been a bit more careful about what he let his coworkers know.

I see this as being his own fault, and if I were working there I could have just as easily complained about working next to a gay guy and sued Microsoft for not accommodating MY feelings.

^ the thing is there is law for thats.
why you think companies have human resources sections.

women, gay/lesbians and black/chinese/latinos/ shouldn't experience that kind of treatment.
for neither their gender, race or orientation.

LOL. That guy does look pretty gay.

You think he is the only person this happens to? This happens to straight people, not a big deal, they just find a different job. But because he is gay he is royalty in the eyes of the law, he deserves special treatment in the eyes of the law. And the other part is because he works at Microsoft, if he worked at a smaller company he wouldnt be going for its pockets.

Simply put, this is political BS. If gays and lesbians want to be treated as equal they need to suck it up and started acting equal. Same with blacks, chinese, and mexicans, you want to be treated equal then quit crying and saying its because of your skin color.

Anyways, I best stop before I upset people.
