Firstly, i am disappointed in some of my fellow VGChartz members and their comments. I agree everyone has a right to an opinion, it is just funny how much more of an opinion is considered acceptably when it comes to homosexuality. But then again, the only people i can imagine making such comments are the uneducated or closeted homosexuals. Which one are you?
Secondly, Microsoft is known for fighting for equal employee rights, so somehow i doubt that this this story is completely true. If so, i doubt this is a structural problem throughout the company (no i am not an MS fanboy. Own a Wii and a Mac). However, if what this man says is true, expect many people to get fired, and expect a a huge, huge pay-out.
What is incredible though is how society can change its views in such a short time. Chances are you parents or grandparents were throwing rocks at black people, gassing Jews, or protesting women rights to vote. Hell, less than 60 years ago, we were all at war with each other.
In 15 years, gay marriage will be accepted in all western countries, and we will start criticizing other countries for lack of homosexual rights. And then, the people on this site who make horrible comments about homosexuality will just be seen as sad and backwards, and will probably start hiding the fact that they are against homosexuality, just like their parents deny having a white hooded cloth in the back of their closet.
