I really find it odd with all the threads in the OT (perfect acronym. The on-topic forum) forum that are essentially "increase your post count" threads. When asked why they made it, the creators of the beforementioned thread oftenly say that they did it to get VG$.

Honestly, I don't get this.

If I had 9000 posts, but knew that half of them were from meaningless spam, that would be rather depressing.

So I'm wondering...

I see VGC$ as a utility I can use to buy features like IM, now. Also they let me fuel my crippling "change my avatar every other week" habit.

I do my best not to make spam posts. I might try to make people laugh, but no post has ever been made solely for the dollars.

I'm on to you oyv - this is so that you can get VGC$ out of this thread :P

Anyway, I suspect we will be seeing more uses for VGC$ when VGC2.0 rolls 'round, so yes, I kind of care. I care more about my prediction league winnings

i care for my post count, not much for the VG$ (unless you can start buying some cool vgchartz shirts/beanies/hoodies with it??!??!?!)

but i like to think most of my posts are not pure spam, but meh i dont care if they are.

One thing I just thought of... Can a long time (as in, has more than 1K negative money) banned never change his/her avatar?

That's why I update the Game Data Base to get my VG$ so I'm helping the site at the same time...

Nah I don't really care about either.. I mean yeh VGC 2.0 may have some features for using VG$ but I really don't have the time to worry about that stuff, I come here to check out news, post some thoughts on topics that catch my attention and also just read threads to see what people around here think..

The community aspect is the greatest part of the site.. Sometimes people just wanna have a bit of fun I guess..
