Baggins why should gay people be treated any different to straight people? and stop comparing the two, straight people don't get a buse. thats why you will never hear of a case of a straight man in this scenario.

Oh and L.C.E.C's view is wrong now and it was wrong 20 years ago.

Nobody is more enlightened just less full of pointless hate ....

Nah I think you mis understand my point of view. I can see why L.C.E.C has said what he has said. What I'm saying is it's ok to have that point of view and keep it to yourself. I suspect the majority of the population had the view of L.C.E.C had the exactly same view 20 years ago (I'm not saying it was ok). It's just a fact, you can't like re-write histroy. Anal sex was illegal for homosexual males until 25-30 years ago. Homosexuality in general was illegal not long before that...

I'm saying it's impossible that the nations view has changed so quickly through enlightenment and that maybe these people who declare themselves outraged at L.C.E.C need to go back a bit and think where this has stemmed from.

My point is regarding ones feelings towards homosexuality - NOT discriminating :)

I don't sit too comfortable with thoughts of homosexuality, not because I'm insecure or whatever. Purely because the notion of intercourse with two guys feels a little wrong on an emotional level. Maybe it's how I've been bought up etc, whatever, I can't help that.

However, and its a big however, I would never discriminate because of this. This is my personal view that I am entitles too. So is L.C.E.C (imo).

I still think the OP is a big idiot for drawing attention to himself in the 1st place, but I'm one of those people who is also sick of threads on VGchartz where people say things that nobody cares about and aren't topics that have any bearing on anyone else.

I honestly don't know what to make of this, although it should not be tolerated the man looks like he needs to grow some balls "hurt feelings" please ..

Work place harassment is actually illegal in the United States and the UK.  The employer has a responsibility to prevent harassment from occuring and to respond to any incidents of reported harassment.

Looking up the laws relating to harassment in the UK, I found that under the Protection from Harassment Act of 1997, employers in the UK seem to have vicarious liability for the actions of their employees.   Providing the claims are remotely valid, Microsoft should be looking to settle because they seem to bear responsiblity for this situation according to the law.

I can't believe that some people here seem to accept harassment, and think people just need to "get thicker skin."  No one should need thicker skin in their work place; harassment has no place there, and they shouldnt' have to deal with it.  I know everyone here probably comes from different walks of life and works in different types of places, but I can't believe that so many of you could work in a place that allows discriminatory behavior.  Sending hate mail or using derogatory language will get you a meeting with HR and a quick dismissal where I work.
