^they support the ipods.

all least the ones with the files are only hidden in disk mode.

u can even tranfer the songs.

Can you use the PS3 as a work around for taking songs off an Ipod in the event the computer doesn't have the syncing file for an Ipod?

I don't see any reason to use itunes. However, someone in the family has an Ipod and expects me to somehow figure out how to do things with the ipod and itunes software I feel is completely useless to me...

Sorry, my annoyed stance for ipod/itunes kind of popped out there.

syncing nope. but the ps3 can play and copy to the HDD any song in the ipod.

If it could get to the jumbled mess of files and folders that the Ipod/Itunes software creates from the PS3, it'd just be the same as you would see it on the PC.

Don't know why I bothered with that dumb question when I figured I already knew the answer.

Though speaking of syncing and Itunes, anybody know of an alternative to Itunes where you can successfully extract and unjumble your music from an Ipod?

i dont think it matters that microsoft owns zune because psp works with 360
