While I think they could and probably will have another current gen RE game, it does make me think about the one thing I don't like this generation. As systems become more complicated, costlier and just time consuming to make, we may see less sequels coming out sooner. Sure original IP's are great when they're good games but who doesn't like to see a sequel to their favorite game?

8 years? That's not only ridiculous in terms of waiting but that has got to cost a ton.

I didn't "love" RE5. didn't like one bit.

Hopefully they will actually ''change'' something this time.

I guess they plan on making a brand new game engine, completing 95% of the game three times before totally scrapping them, getting their work progress stolen by some Russian hacker using an exploit in Outlook where they then scrap and change around some more of the game to finally give us the final retail version!
