Maybe because MS paid for exclusivity. Anyway X360 userbase is > than PS3 userbase so it makes more sense.

Except JRPGs typically sell better in Japan, where the PS3 userbase is 3 times bigger than that of the 360's. If it's any other genre I would agree with you, but the underwhelming sales of those JRPGs thus far speak for themselves. As for your other point about M$ paying for exclusives, Sony can do the same thing and pay for exclusivity of MGS5. So you just answered your original questiona about making more profit.
wow i should look at whats i write before i post ha ha

Wow kojima must be a god for you... lol |
It's called simple fact. Konami is not going to risk losing Kojima. And Kojima has always been a Sony supporter. It would be like if Nintendo wants to make Mario multiplat, but Miyamoto says no. Nintendo is not going to override Miyamoto and risk losing him for the sake of making some extra profit.

ummm no it would not. Most games that are Multi platform have 1 Basic bulid, then are just quick fitted onto the next sku.
It is almost no extra cost to go mulit platfome, and that is why more and more games are mulit plat, that and you will sell more games.
Lastly I think that it will be, if they make another, the day of 3rd party exclusives is gone.

That's why DQX will be exclusively on Wii but that's another story... I agree with you that Sony can also pay for exclusivity but the company's financial position right now is not quite as good as MS.

Well, with the announcment of OnLive, the days of console gaming may be over as we know it.

Expect all future Konami games to be multi-platform.

Wow you seem very confused. First of all Kojima works for Konami, not Sony while Miyamoto is working for Nintendo. Konami is a third party publisher and their objective is to make profit not making promotion of the PS3. Nintendo is a first party and won't have any advantage to bring some Mario games multiplatform. Hope that bring more sense to you.
