There will never be an rpg as great as Xenogears. It has the best storyline you will ever find in an rpg and it also has the best music as well.

Lucky Chrono Trigger was released before Xenogears.. but yeah.. after Xenogears.. there hasn't been a jrpg that good... some came close.. but none surpassed it..
