I'm basing my info on the IGN release dates as they stand from yesturday, 9/3. Things can change; I know. My differentiation between genres may not suit your style perfectly; so fine. I will not be including Playstation 2 because it's last gen, so too bad. Do the work yourself if it's that critical.
Now that all of that is out of the way, here's the point. It's hard to say which system is always the best, because sales do not necessarily entail quality, and gems can pop up on even the most awful of consoles. I'm gonna go genre by genre and show the fall lineup. You guys then discuss who rules in that area. If the release dates get updated by new games added or pushed into next fall, we can reconvene and decide again what that means for each console. I have taken a few liberties by not adding any games specifically for children, such as Spongebob and Ben 10, and will not include any games that have to do with hunting because I figure no one wants to argue over that anyways. If I'm offending any hunting game fans, too bad. Spend your money more wisely in the future. So without further ado...

Now this here is the Wii's supposedly new market. Obviously they dominate in quantity here. No other consoles have any announced puzzle games coming out this fall. But do remember that Live and PSN may still release some over the network. Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo missed the list because it was released a day before in August, but it's close enough to be added back in I suppose. In that case, it trumps every other puzzle game...combined. as far as mini game collections, Wii has Rayman Raving Rabbids 2 and some odds and ends collections. 360 has Viva Pinata, but Rabbids is absolutely insane and will take that game out and chew on it's fluffy heart. Wii is however missing a big release in Rock Band. Luckily it'll have Guitar Hero III, but Rock Band still stings. For those who love karaoke, Singstar is coming out for PS3. Overall, Wii has the best range of casual games, spanning many different sub genres. Unless you can't live without Rock Band, Wii is where it's at. Bring on the Rabbids!
