 Farming FTW!! seriously Harvest Moon > Mass Effect.

I have to admit, I'm tempted to get a 360 just for Mass Effect, except I'd rather it was turn-based combat instead of a squad-FPS combat.

I'd love to see Bioware do an RPG for the Wii. The Wii-mote would be perfect for a Baldur's Gate type game. It's possible, they're doing Sonic RPG for the DS.

360 wins this one. Good for them.

360 is the clear winner in my book. I'm hoping that Eternal Sonata won't disappoint like Blue Dragon did (a little). I played the demo and it seems awesome. Combine that with Mass Effect and you can't lose.

This thread is missing one very obvious choice that trumps a lot of these games:

DS: The Legend of Zelda: The Phantom Hourglass

It's easy to discount handhelds but considering that Phantom hourglass is supposed to be Mario Galaxy level awesome it can't be overlooked (of course I still think the 360 still wins).

The 360 wins this category easily. Mass Effect is probably the game I want to play most at the moment, right after SSBB.

Wheres Folklore and WhiteKnightStory(released 31stDecember07 in JPN so it still counts).

End of 2014 Hardware Predictions (03/03/14)

PlayStation 4: 12-15million

Xbox One: 7-10 million

Wii U: 8-9 million (Changed 01/04/2014 from 7-9 --> 8-9 million)

Lost Oddysey is scheduled for January. Folklore I put into the adventure column, because based on the description of the game I got, it seemed closer to an action/adventure game than an RPG. It'll be in a different category.

On the website you're looking at (I assume IGN) it says January but pretty much everywhere else and including the developers it's 2007.  I think when in doubt about a release date a person should use wikipedia because except for last minute (in the last day or two) they're almost always up to date on release dates from all credible news sources (and some of the developers themselves apparently check those pages).

360 wins, but I'm not sad about a new HM game and Fire Emblem on the Wii either. I love being an RPG fan. This generation is going to be the best for RPG gamers since the SNES. I'm also glad I'm getting a 360.

Wiki is a terrible place for credible information because anyone can post whatever they want. For known facts like PSP battery life or something widely know iit's not too bad, but for something like the release date of a game I would take it with a grain of salt. It's a nice place to start research, but that's about it.

Perfect recent example.

A better not as recent example.
